First half of the book gives tea on George’s clientele and their beauty habits.
Second half is how to apply his guide to your own self regimen. I like that George emphasizes that a little ego is essential to beauty since you must care about how to look and feel to be beautiful. Some of his skincare techniques are a little dated but the makeup techniques are timeless and applicable to all features.
Hands-on and authentic guidance and gossip!

I have hardcover copy of this book published by Dutton in 1977. To this day I take THIS book off my shelf when I feel like good selfhelp advice to just pull myself together again a little bit. I believe I am not the only woman who sometimes takes one look in the mirror and thinks : yup, it's time for a bit of spitting and polishing MYSELF, too! I found the book on a sale. Find a copy - it's like listening to a good friend yakking away while he is doing wondeful things for you. Is George Masters still around?
