The Master of Evil is certainly one of the most intriguing fantasies I have read in a long time. It has a different writting style than I have ever encountered elsewhere and I found it a very absorbing read. Saly enough, I have not been able to find the other books in this series, the Fall of the First World, so I can not comment on the series as a whole. This first book is likely to have strange effect on the reader. For myself, I am still no tryly sure if I like or hate the authors particulare style of writting and would need to read more of his books to decide this. The fact that I want to read more seems to say that I am leaning towards liking him, however. I will not comment on the actual plot line etc. since part of the books appeal lies in the fact that, while some events may be rather predictable, the author has a facinating way of going about describing them and the book seems to have a very strong poetic flare. In closing I would recommend that anyone who wants to read this book and I would love to hear the opinions of others who have read it.
