Damaged book

Never got to read because book was very damaged - water stained and corner bent.

Humanizing and Gorgeous

This book explores a woman’s time in prison. Equal time is spent talking about her life and how she ended up there, as well as the relationships developed on the inside. This story is gorgeous and humanizing. I will definitely be recommending this to others.

The Man Booker Prize is one of the most prestigious awards for literary fiction written in English, and the list of winners over the last 50 years includes Ian McEwan, Margaret Atwood, Yann Martel, and Salman Rushdie, so the 2018 prize announcement is big! (Also, the shortlist has six brilliant and diverse novels you’ll want to read regardless of who wins.)
