Arrived on time Interesting

Great book. Good read. Pretty funny.

Very amusing book. Steve Santagati is a good writer, is really funny & when you are reading his pages, you feel like he is talking to you. You can never have too many male confidants and his perspective is certainly enlightening.

A Bad-Boy, But not THAT Bad...

This book is truly charming...meaning the author is charming the pants off of you at all times! It needs to be taken with a grain of salt at moments, but is so much fun you'll easily overlook any of those incidences. The author may claim to be a "Bad-Boy" but I think deep down, he's really a nice guy just playing at being bad...who the hell cares, he's loads of fun. A great read, it will keep you entertained from cover to cover.

Survival of the Fittest, so choose to live !!

A welcome arrival to the Man/Women questions that plague us all, and a common sense approach to answering those questions. The Manual gives sincere, straight forward suggestions for enduring love, lust, optimism, and this eluding little thing which is said to make the world go around. I found information which I knew, had practiced, never even thought of, and had never even considered putting into action. Well rounded, well written, PACKED with a wicked sense of humor, and practical, sound suggestions. I laughed (A LOT), rolled my eyes, threw it on the floor (picking it back up within 2 minutes), and seriously pondered several times in my life when had I known this information the results may have been different. Anyone bagging this book is more than likely sitting on the couch stuffing their mouth from a bag of Dorito's, spewing stench-breath with a scowl on their face wondering why Mr. Wonderful ain't a knockin' on their door and ringing their phone off the wall. (they shouldn't have skipped over Ch. 15 !!!!) Steve's writing reflects his love, admiration, and genuine concern and appreciation for the overall well-being of women. Buy it, read it, live it. We have the power to change our lives and Steve has given us the tool box from which we can do it! Thank you Steve Santagati. You are a treasure!

One Of Two Must-reads For The Summer!

Although I haven't quite finished it, I am nearly three-quarters thru this book. It just came out today and that's how easy a read it is. I wanted to get my review up ASAP for any women who are on the fence about getting this book; get it! I have been anticipating this book and was afraid it might be a big let down like some of the other books on dating I've been anticipating recently have been. Quite the opposite! I was very pleased to find it to be full of lots of good information. While some people will undoubtedly call some of Steve's advice manipulation tactics, I disagree; he simply provides insight and tells women how we can use it to protect ourselves from being hurt or to go after a guy. In the end, we will be happier, as well as the guy. It's the typical chick lit that preaches manipulation, like with the standards - never return a guy's call or use sex as a means of control. This book is not chick lit. Right from the get go, Steve does a good job of forcing us to be honest with ourselves with comments like "you may say you're over the bad boy but come on, are you really?" He also lays it out on the line, explaining his view as a guy, then relating it to how it works on women and why we fall for it. Then he tells us how we can work with it and what we can do to offset it. There is alot of talk about "playing the game", which, again, people will complain about, but again, Steve forces us to be honest. Dating and meeting is a game, let's be honest about it. It's hard to admit where I've been taken by tactics like Steve's but they are there, for sure. Like when he says that "a pro" - like him - approaches a woman with another woman as his wingman, not a guy, because it puts the woman he's hitting on at ease and lowers her guard, I had to admit that has worked on me and does exactly what he says. (He says that one time he even used a stranger to approach a girl. She must have been pissed! Can you imagine? A stud like him approaches you, you think he's going to hit on you, and instead he asks you to help him hit on another girl. Wow, that's a jerk; yet, I could see it working.) He gives all kinds of advice on how to meet the right guys on the beach, at concerts, in the park, which is why I say read it now, before summer hits! You can use this advice. My only criticism is that there's no real life usage or stories where Steve's information is applied. I was hoping to actually read his thoughts when he meets a woman and there isn't any of that. In otherwords, it's all advice and he needs to really add a workbook to go along with it. That's not that big a deal, though, because the other must-read for the summer, God Is a Woman: Dating Disasters, does exactly that - it puts you smack inside a guy's head as in story after story he hits on or dates a woman, what he thinks, then offers clear advice for both men and women about what he learned after each story. The books compliment each other so well, it's like they were
