Not a Review

This is a question to the sellers of this book. I was curious about whether this edition of this book is the original text, exactly as written by the great Mr. Hill, or one of those "revised and updated for the 21st century" types. There are plenty of "revised" editions available out there, but I'm more interested in hearing the words straight from the man's mouth (or pen, as it were), without someone else's ideas, about how they might be interpreted to apply to some contempoary examples, stuffed in there for show. So, if you're a seller and happen to see this, I'd greatly apreciate any light you can shed, as I'd like to eventually aquire all of Mr. Hills books, but I'd prefer to end up with the ones that he wrote himself, as he wrote them.

Great detail about the Master Mind Principle

I have been trying to find original prints of Napoleon Hill's books and had not read "The Magic Ladder To Success" so I purchased this version to read. As a background this book was published in 1930, seven years before Hill's most well known book "Think and Grow Rich". I actually found the discussion about the Master Mind far more in depth that "Think and Grow Rich". He made it the first lesson in the book and almost one third of the book is devoted to the Master Mind. I like how Hill really gets to the spirituality of the Master Mind. In Hill's time, the Master Mind in all of the writings by the self-development pioneers referred to the Master Mind in a spiritual sense. He dwells on harmony as the nucleus of the Master Mind saying "Harmony is the nucleus around which the state of mind knows as the "Master Mind" must be developed. Without this element of harmony there can be no Master Mind, a truth which cannot be repeated too often." I actually found The Magic Ladder to Success much easier to read than Think and Grow Rich. Not sure exactly how to explain it except Think and Grow Rich is more like a sermon to me and The Magic Ladder to Success is more like a mentor providing guidance. While The Magic Ladder to Success is stronger regarding the Master Mind (62 pages), the other sixteen chapters are less than ten pages each. I recommend this book. I have re-read The Magic Ladder to Success three times now. And like Think and Grow Rich, I found it to be a very valuable book.
