The Magic Elevator is MAGIC!

This is a great book for kids, as well as for adults! Magic Elevator reminds us grown-ups of the magic of imagination! Too often do adults forget that magic and this book not only reminds you of the power of imagination, but the magic of being a kid! I can't wait to go on more magic adventures with Johnny and Joey!

This is an excellent book. I bought it for my 10 year old but I read it first. The cover and the title kept calling me so I couldn't resist. After my son reads it, I will donate it to the school for other children to enjoy. Good work Mr. McShane.

A FIVE STAR BOOK

What an adventure it was, not only for me but for my three-year-old niece as well. It was a delight to watch her face light up, watch her smile as I read the book to her. Watching her hanging on every word is a moment I will not soon forget. To hear her say, "Read more book" brought a smile to my face almost as big as hers. Pol McShane has written an adventure story that will have every child and adult hanging on to every word and flipping pages to see what adventure lays in store for the brothers next. Mr. McShane writes with great detail, you feel like you are watching a movie, not reading a book. You feel as if you are there taking part in the brothers adventures. As the brothers partake in each of the adventures in the book with Mr. McShane's vivid depiction written so well, you can close your eyes and feel the elevator vibrate, you can feel the fire from the three-headed dragon on your face, the fear inside the brothers as they meet Teron. And the excitement builds each time the elevator doors close, you cannot wait to go on another adventure with the brother's The Magic Elevator-The Adventures of Johnny and Joey is destined to be a children's adventure classic. A book that every child will have to have and every parent will be proud to buy. Not only for their children to read but to read themselves, and reminisce about their own childhood adventures. In the words of my three year old niece when asked by her mother if she enjoyed the book, "Yes, it made me happy" was her reply .This book rates a five out of five stars by me and my niece. And we both thank Mr. McShane for the adventure to got to share together.

A Fantastic Journey

Pol McShane has created a lovely mixture of fantasy and reality with his book Johnny & Joey. He begins his tale by relating the every day adventures of two brothers, but when a mischievous plot by the two uncovers a magical elevator, their lives change, and they begin to learn some of life's hard lessons. Children everywhere are going to read this book and wish that they, too, could find a magical elevator.

Author Pol McShane tells a wonderful story of two brothers, Johnny and Joey, whose imagination and a magic elevator take them to far away lands. The boys' adventures take them to places where the animals talk, people turn into birds and fly and any thing you can imagine can come true.
