This has been one of the best books I've read in awhile. Joan delivers a great book that helped me develop a knowledge of Buddhism, and to put the practices into my life. Well laid out and informative.

Have read THE LOTUS STILL BLOOMS and was delighted in reading it. Joan Gattuso has a unique style in presenting the truths of Buddhism and weaving them into practical applications for daily living. Have been a practitioner for over twenty years and find the book refreshing in reviewing the truths in Buddhism and given some new approaches for their usage. An easy read with depth. The book is an excellent read and I would highly recommend it to new and old practitioners of Buddhism.

Staple Buddhism Book

I wouldn't call myself a beginner having read many other books on Buddhism for the past 4 years. I just happened to pick this up while browsing at Barnes & Noble, and it was the best find. It's better than "The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching." The author's really done a great job in presenting the major principles and practices of Buddhism in a very well organized, clear, effective, and inspiring manner. I've underlined and highlighted sentences and paragraphs to read again. I keep it with me all the time as my Buddhist Bible and reference. I would recommend this book to everyone and to give to others as a gift.
