The Long Ships for Golden Bell

It is an exciting adventurous story on capturing a solid gold bell, The Mother of Voices. It was filmed on location in Europe on the Vikings. It was produced in early 60s before civil right era. However, there is a racist unspoken message: white over blacks, Christian over pagan. Eventually, white won with the valuable prize and the black chief was crushed by his seeking treasure. It also showed the killer iron horse cruelty and the subject obediently submitted when called upon. The on location and special effect technique was impressive. Enjoy but beware of the underlining racism.
