Terrifingly Realistic

Wow this was an amazing book. Really opens your eyes with lots of twists and turns. John Corey at his humorous best.

You made a mistake............

I specifically ordered LARGE PRINT........you sent me Lion's Game in regular print........I CANNOT READ IT !!!!!~ I want a copy in LARGE PRINT!!!!!

DeMille is the best!

Wow! I've just spent the last 24 hours with the murderous Libyan terrorist Asad "The Lion" Khalil as he wreaks havoc throughout the United States, and with my favorite fictional detective John Corey, as he works to stop Khalil. What a trip! Mr. DeMille's writing is so vivid, it's like verbal virtual reality. I was immediately drawn into the story, and the characters, and read this book in one day. If you're a thriller fan and you've never read DeMille - what are you waiting for, go buy this book! - and if you're a DeMille fan, well, the same goes for you! I really loved the character of John Corey in the book Plum Island and I am thrilled to have him back. I'm hoping that he will become Mr. DeMille's "Jack Ryan" and that we'll be seeing Detective Corey again (and again). I will confess to being a LITTLE disappointed in the ending, although it did contain a satisfying twist. I'm looking forward to Mr. DeMille's next book, and in the meantime i'm going to read The Lion's Game again. Great!

Enter the mind of a murderer...

Asad Khalil is the most intriguing, diabolical, and brilliant villain since Hannibal Lecter. Far from the cardboard bad guys typical of the thriller genre, Khalil is a well-rounded, fully imagined character. His grisly career makes for horrifying reading. This is a book that will keep you up until five in the morning, turning the pages softly while your wife snores beside you. Or your husband. If you're single, you can turn the pages as loudly as you want.DeMille simply writes better than his peers. His sentences don't have the sickly palor of so many thriller writers; his protagonist is a flesh-and-blood man, not a sorry imitation of James Bond. If you're looking for a wildy entertaining ride, and you're not afraid of some serious nastiness, give this book a chance.

What a relief! Corey and DeMille are back!

I have been waiting for this book for a year now, and was delighted with the reward for patience. A scary, at times funny, at times touching experience. Won't say more to ruin it for all you lucky ones who will soon be reading it except - Enjoy!

one of the most enjoyable books I've ever read

Demille's latest work brings back John Corey from his previous work, PLUM ISLAND. I've read many thriller and mystery novels and this is the best read I have come upon in several years. Demille has written good works in the past, but this is the best he's done yet. It is action packed, suspenseful, and funny at the same time. An excellent book. I read it in two days (and its 675 pages).
