The Laws of the Skies

Winnie-the-Pooh meets The Blair Witch Project in this very grown-up tale of a camping trip gone horribly awry.
Twelve six-year-olds and their three adult chaperones head into the woods on a camping trip. None of them make it out alive. The Laws of the Skies tells the harrowing story of those days in the woods, of illness and accidents, and a murderous child.
Part fairy tale, part horror film, this macabre fable takes us through...

Fantastic Read for Thriller/Horror Fans

While this is a shorter read, I think that's a good thing - because it had me hooked and I ended up finishing it in one sitting. The eerie realism and body horror contributes to a constant feeling of suspense and anxiety. A fun fieldtrip gives way to complete despair and hopelessness as our main characters navigate an unthinkable tragedy that creates a domino effect, causing our cast to unravel and spiral into out-of-control panic. This author does not hold back, and even the most gruesome scenes are described with such style, they almost become beautiful.

Great short story

This was definitely a quick read, I couldn't put it down! It's was interesting to see everyone's perspectives, especially from such young kids. Lots of action and gore.

Brutal Ending

Great short horror book for fans of Nick Cutter's "The Troop." Mind your triggers. Absolutely grisly ending. Not a lot of character development, but I love how it gets straight to it. Just a short, fantastic & gruesome horror.
