Follow Cynthia Benson as she does her best to survive when faced with a drug addicted mother, a pack of ravenous bullies and a town where maybe five residents will even bother with her. Despite these issues Cynthia has still managed to make many friends, thanks to a small gas station at the edge of town that is run by a Native American man from a nearby reserve. She has been friends with the owner's son for a long time as well as other who work at the gas station. Though her friend Papewy has unrequited feelings for the young woman she instead allows herself to be courted by a completely unexpected suitor. When Cynthia meets the suave, sweet yet awkward Elias, the local town millionaire, she is immediately knew he was different but she was also mysteriously drawn to him. After spending a whirlwind evening with Elias at the annual town Christmas party, she is semi-forced to live with him and discovers a secret about the young scion that never once crossed her mind. My work has recently been accepted as part of the Indie Author Project in the U.S and Canada.
