Queen Clementina the Movie

This hilarious read has stuck with me for years, if only to pitch it to a film company..... The narrative keeps you well entertained from the off: the pox, a daring escape, more dodgy skin and a marriage of supremely stroppy proportions. This is what history is all about - barracading your queen in bed with an elaborate array of bells and chairs and shutting yourself up in a convent after a domestic. Impressive on all fronts.
