This thriller is based in London, Scotland and Australia - a bored insurance clerk (Arthur) dreams of a James Bond lifestyle, danger and uncertainty. Then his dreams come true. The insurance claim he's handling - a break-in at Lord Atkinson's mansion - raises the ire the Financial Services Authority and Metropolitan Police and he must disappear to hide from them.

Meanwhile, Mary had moved to London from Scotland, hoping for wealth and romance. Neither of these hopes eventuated and she was unwittingly drawn into Arthur's world of deceit and corruption.

Power and petroleum companies have been bribing politicians, Metropolitan Police and MI5 personnel to stop this invention and the burglary was for the plans to it. There are chases, people knocked out, people imprisoned, tied up, stabbed and shot as the saga speeds up.

The novel is based on the author's own experiences as a corporate trainer in London, a horse and camel trecker in Australia and a publisher in New Zealand.
