This book was inspired by the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the arrival of Ann and Adoniram Judson to Burma in 1813. As I thought about what I could do to contribute to the celebration, I remembered that over 1,000 American Baptist missionaries served in Burma from 1813 to 1966. In this latter year, 1966, the Burma government asked all foreigners to leave, including missionaries. My parents were missionaries to Burma 1921 to 1966 (with breaks)...
