An Enjoyable Modern-day Fairy Tale!

What if a medieval knight, cursed with immortality, finds his soul mate in a modern-day Princess? That is the story of THE KNIGHT'S KISS.Author Nicole Burnham writes another down-to-earth, believable story of two people from different worlds, destined to be together.Princess Isabella di Talora hires Nick Black (also known as Domenico di Bollazio) to help with the expansion of her country's Royal Museum. Unknown to her, he has an unusual secret. Nick is over 800 years old, the product of a curse by a witch from his medieval days. He has spent his life trying to find the key to break the curse. He is forced to remain a recluse to avoid his secret from being exposed. In order to find the information to break his curse, Nick risks discovery of his secret and agrees to work with the princess. At first glance Nick and Isabella have everything. She is a beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate princess. Nick is a handsome, knowledgeable and successful art collector. They have different lives but have one thing in common - they are both lonely. I enjoyed everything in THE KNIGHT'S KISS. It has a little of medieval storyline, mixed with a little modern-day romance, and is sprinkled with a little magic to give the reader a true happily ever after modern-day fairy tale ending.Fafa Demasio

Once Upon a time...

...there was a cursed knight. For almost a thousand years he tried to find a way to break the curse. Then he met Princess Isabella of San Rimini and all those years of pain and isolation melted away in her embrace. He'd give anything to stay with her...but for her sake, he knows he must leave.A beautiful modern-fairytale of true love, Nicole Burnham's The Knight Kiss was simply wonderful!

A "Knight" Worth Keeping...

I loved the third book in the San Rimini series. THE KNIGHT'S KISS is such a sweet tale of sacrifice and love and magic spells ... I didn't want the story to end.Ms. Burnham is so talented! She's created a wonderful world that I loved to be immersed in and I hope she finds ways to write at least a dozen more books about San Rimini and its royal family. Aren't there cousins somewhere? :-)

Timeless Perfection!

I loved Nicole Burnham's first two San Rimini books, but this third installment--pairing a cursed 12th century knight and the beautiful Princess Isabella--is the standout in what is truly an exceptional series! Written with a light touch and a wonderful sense of charm, Nicole Burnham seems as adept and well at ease with the unique historical spin as she does her fictional, contemporary kingdom of San Rimini. THE KNIGHT'S KISS was a delight from start to finish. I'm expecting great things to come from the very talented Nicole Burnham! Don't miss any books in this special series.

Marvelous paranormal! Very highly recommended

In 1163 a knight entrusted with the King's business, Domenico di Bollazio Black stood at a turning point that would transform his life. Rather than going back to save a child, he decides to keep to his schedule and fulfill his mission for the King. But when the boy's red headed mother stops him, she leaves him with a curse of immortality. The curse can only be broken if he can learn to sacrifice himself for others. In the current century he calls himself Nick Black, living the life of an eccentric hermit and searching for records of the woman who could free him of his eternal life.Princess Isabella diTalora seeks Nick out personally, having heard remarkable recommendations from other historicists in the field. Little does she suspect he was born in San Rimini and has walked the same halls as she, albeit 800 years ago. Isabella intends to finish a historical project begun by her mother, and she needs Nick's help cataloging a huge collection of artifacts and historical documents currently gathering dust in the royal palace. Fulfilling such a request affords Nick the opportunity to examine hereto unrecorded documents that might hold the clues to his quest. It also presents his greatest challenge yet: not acting on his attraction to the princess. Readers who enjoy a touch of the paranormal will treasure Nicole Burnham's THE KNIGHT'S KISS. In this mesmerizing novel, Burnham demonstrates a remarkable gift for transforming the improbably into something absolutely believable. Nick's understanding of Isabella's need for anonymity provides the perfect date, and an amusing outcome. As their relationship develops, it is at once tender and endearing. Readers will delight in this paranormal, even as it takes a sharp departure from the glitter casinos of Burnham's previous work. One can only wonder at what might spring from this marvelously creative author next! THE KNIGHT'S KISS comes very highly recommended.
