Is about the 1960's career and memoirs of Karl Ferris, the preferred, Psychedelic Album Cover Photographer/Designer for the 60's London Rock elite, such as Jimi Hendrix, Donovan, Cream, Eric Clapton, The Hollies, The Fool and The Beatles and Joni Mitchell. Karl's photos were featured on all three US Jimi Hendrix's "Experience" famed album covers "Are You Experienced, Electric Ladyland and Axis Bold As Love". Plus, he also did 3 LP Covers for Donovan and 1 for The Hollies and many Posters for them, also for Eric Clapton and Cream, Paul Jones and The Walker Brothers. At the same time he was also shooting Psychedelic Fashion spreads for major Magazines, and his models such as Pattie Boyd-Harrison and her sister Jenny Boyd introduced Karl to The Beatles, who commissioned Karl to shoot their new "Apple Boutique" psychedelic fashion line, which was designed by "The Fool" design collective, who Ferris had discovered in Ibiza in 1966 and brought to London to work with him. Also, another of his models, Charlotte Martin introduced him to Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. So, this is how Karl came to work with their Rock star boyfriends on their Record albums and posters, and became their preferred photo/designer and trusted friend.
