From vibrant life to sudden death, a legend with myths.

Jerry Hopkins biography of rock legend Jimi Hendrix brings a wild mix of emotions to Hendrix fans and haters alike. Hopkin's fluent writing and somewhat accurate portrait of the rocker is hampered by myths and speculations by those who opposed him and those who loved him best. At times, the book brought tears to my eyes, but I also found myself disgusted by some of the popular myths about Hendrix. All in all, it is an interesting read for those interested in the reading a book proclaimed as "truth" but truly covered in gossip and speculation.
