A Very Thoughtful Treament by a Respected Priest

I didn’t know much about Patrick Henry Reardon before reading this book, but I did some research and found that he is an Orthodox priest and writer, as well as the senior editor at Touchstone. The book provides a look a Jesus’ life and insights into many of the passages and events in the gospels. I gave this four stars because for me (and it may well have been personal preference) the book was a bit uneven. I was very interested in many of the sections, especially ones that deal with parallels between Old and New Testament, but I couldn’t figure out some of the sections or why they would be in that chapter. Overall a book that I would recommend, it helped me understand more about Jesus and renewed my wonder and love for Immanuel, God with us.
