A realistic , easily absorbed practice to elevate inner serenity

The Japanese Cult of Tranquillilty A book which presents a concrete and quite focussed practice which subtly evolves as a path to living in the moment; in short, a shrewd and wise method of revealing to the reader a way to awakening. This is typical of Durckheim: a simple and practical narrative line which suddenly becomes astonishingly illuminating. The greatest compliment one can give is to say this is Durckheim at his best.
