The Irish Rose

Back Cover: A Bold Reckless Beauty As she gazed at the lofty peaks of Medicine Bow Mountain from her log cabin window, Alina Gallagher wondered how she'd ever survive in the Wyoming Territory. The headstrong daughter of an Irish shippong magnate, she fled Chicago and her grasping relatives....only to find herself cut off without a penny, stranded in the wilderness with only a tall, rugged stranger for company. Beauregard Parker was an enigma, a handsome loner whose dark, searing looks and hungry touch aroused distrust--and irresistible desire.... A Dashing Southern Rogue Was it sheer Southern Gallantry that had made him offer Alina marriage as a means of escape...or something more? With all the belles of Virginia swooning at his feet, Beau wasn't a man in need of a woman. But ever since he'd arrived in rough-and-tumble Laramie City to take over his murdered brother's ranch, he was bewithced by the bold, blue-eyed beauty. Alone with her on the treacherous frontier, beset by danger on every side, Beau swore to break down every barrier between them. With sensuous caresses and passionate kissed he'd win the love of the woman he called wife--a woman whose heart he'd risk everything to tame. My Review: Alina meets Beau after running from greedy distant relatives. They eventually fall in love with "suggested" help from Pike, Beau's ranching partner, and Connor, Alina's cousin. This story had villans from both sides, the greedy relatives and a ex-girlfriend. Barns and houses getting burned, a lynching. It seems there was always something going on. So I highly recommend this book, I don't think you will be disapponted. Sassy
