Terry Piper has opened a pearl

Terry's excellent skill shines in this new concept of stardom. Her book revealed what everyone is now talking about. On the 2007 music awards Randy (American Idol Judge and music producer) is speaking out about the power of American Idol to change the way fans get to pick and choose their stars. No time in the history of the music business- except when Frank Sinatra won a contest-has a music star been show cased to the world with instant worldwide results. Randy said that in the past heads of music companies got to choose what you would here and who you would like...Now the choice falls to not only this country, but the world. This book is excellent and Terry has done an excellent job. I would suggest this to anyone...especailly a fan of Clay Aiken. I love that guy...He is Elton all over again! Plus Clay.. Sandy Saunders

I just loved this book. Clay is an amazing young man that I consider a true gift from God. The author of this book gracfully reminded us how we played a part in his career without taking any credit away from him. You see, we were used by God as part of his plan for Clay to succeed. I am proud to be a clay fan and proud to know such a talented and lovely woman as Terry. Great Book!!!!!!

Spike and other fans

I did not know what to expect when I opened Terry's book. What I found was a well-researched work that I enjoyed immensly. The author combined a look into the difficult-to-understand recording and radio industries with the lessons we in the Clay Nation learned in helping an amazing young singer to stardom. I would recommend this book to all who participated in the joy of 'The Invisible Revolution'. It was an amazing adventure. And to all who have an interest in the workings of the music industry as a whole it has a remarkable amount of inside knowledge.

This book pulls it all together

Ms. Piper has written a well constructed, insightful book on the loyal, often perplexing world of Clay Aiken fans. Many of Mr. Aiken's fans had dropped out of music fandom altogether until he re-awakened in them a sense of interest and joy in the music world. Ms. Piper explores this in a humorous "insider" kind of way that makes the reader feel closer to this phenomenon. This book is a very enjoyable read for any Clay Aiken fan.
