Brilliant, Amazing Book

This book is for children, but it is incredible. I read it ten years ago while in medical school, and was so impressed I showed a friend who was then in doctoral program in chemistry, and he was so impressed that he photocopied it for his files. I'm now buying a copy to use for some physics tutoring I'm doing with three home-school kids. Although I'd been interested in engines for a while, this simple book let me really understand how they work; I "got it" from this book. Hard to say enough about it. Just buy it. I hope it is reprinted, as it should be available new. Kids will learn a great deal from it.
