A Must-read for educators

These new arrivals in the world have been the subject of much speculation and some outrageous claims concerning their alleged powers. What this book does is provide a definition of the term and how it came to be and then shares with the reader how to deal with this evolved group of folks. Learn what has worked and what will definitely not work. This information comes from child psychologists, teachers, healthcare workers, parents and others who have had interaction on a large scale with these folks. An extremely valuble book for anyone who works with or around children.

Valuable info

I found much valuable information in this book, but was troubled by a couple of statements. 1) Re: Indigos "Jan & I saw the phenomenon clearly and were the first to put it out there." Years ago I attended 2 of their seminars, including one featuring Nancy Ann Tappe. They freely admitted that Nancy was the first to recognize Indigos in the early 1970s and her 1986 book, Understanding Your Life Through Color, devoted a chapter to them. Nancy also lectured about them at the Kryon seminar. So, the "we were the first" is not completely accurate. Granted, they were probably the first to disseminate the information on a world-wide basis. 2) In the interview with Nancy Tappe, Nancy says she doesn't know anything about the Crystal and Golden Children. This is a little confusing since she identified Crystals in her book. In fact I had a personal reading from Nancy and was told that I was a Crystal. On that point, I suspect Nancy meant that Crystals were not part of the New Age Children as some other authors claim. On a positive note, I totally agree that the circus fostered by some other authors is ridiculous. As Nancy said in lectures (which I believe), the new kids are bridge builders, not the ultimate spiritual beings. She used the example: if the older generations are called threes, the new kids are three and a half, paving the way to a higher, spiritual generation of four. A short, free article dealing with this concept ("The New Age Has Dawned, Homo Spiritus Is Born") can be found with an internet search.

This book does a very good job of describing the Indigo children and their traits and the influences these will have on those around them and in the work place. There is very good information on their needs that are different from other children and instruction on how to raise them and meet their needs, including diet.
