An event study was utilised to gain an understanding whether the ethical failures of Barclays, Royal bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB have had an effect on their financial performance. These variables were collated from reliable sources and analysed against one another in terms of their share price and annual accounts performance whilst also attaining to a measure of future performance through investigating consumer's perceptions of the banks used.
