Quite simply, this book has changed my life. Even though it was written as fiction, eternal truths weave through every page. Truths that uplift the spirit and give one hope for the future.Dewey gives a new (but strangely familiar) slant on many subjects that have consumed philosophers, religious teachers and ordinary seekers for eons, such as: who we really are, what our mission is, the nature of God, the work of the Brotherhood of Light, soul contact/Christ consciousness (to name just a few). It seems strange to me that the only negative comment about this book is the WAY the book came. I read it in 3 days because I couldn't put it down and I continue to read the teachings of JJ Dewey. Once you've tasted Manna you never go back to rice cakes. The growth in my life has been so amazing it's not possible to describe it and it is in direct cause of reading The Immortal. Frankly, I don't care if it is in fiction form. The truth that is in there sings just as loud (perhaps more so) because I HAVE to know it for myself. JJ, thank you.

This is the one of the most thrilling pieces I have ever read, because it confirms what Jesus said, that there would be some that would not taste of death as written in the Bible, in Matthew. This book will make you look inward and at yourself in an entirely different way. If you believe in miricles, you will believe this one. He has made the first 21 chapters free to read on the web, by just doing a search on the title. This little free-view absolutely made me thirst for more! I had MANY inner questions answered and confirmed. As a whole, it makes for great reading and spurs you into looking forward to MORE of what the author will have to offer.

This is a book that really rings true in my soul. One of the best I ever read (and I have read quite a few!). No doubt in my mind: "The Immortal" is a very special gift to mankind. "The Song of the 144,000" is worth a try for all spiritually interested people, I think.
