Good Foundation

This book offers many interesting pictures of well-known jazz musicians as well as a good deal of essential information about famous jazz artists; however, most of the information is not very in-depth. It is a great book for a foundation in the history of jazz, but it is not for those looking comprehensive details about specific subjects. It is, however, excellent for the researcher who would like a face to go allow with a name. I found the book very helpful and enjoyable.
