The Ills of Saardu is a unique story about the first genius in a primitive world on the brink of extinction, his forbidden love affair, and what happens when his planet becomes a refuge for hundreds of humans suffering a neurotic condition caused by generations of confinement in a spaceship. Copyright registered in 1985, the author published The Ills of Saardu first draft manuscript as proof of the originality of her ideas, which were rewritten and published in 2009, titled Saardu: The Adventure Begins. Because the originality of her world was questioned in 2010 due to it bearing some similarities to James Cameron's Avatar world, this publication proves the ownership of Carma's creation, the planet and culture named Saardu. The US Copyright Office public record verifies Carma's 1985 manuscript titled The Ills of Saardu, Registration Number TXu000197171, which anyone can obtain. New cover design by the author features deep space field image in public domain courtesy of NASA and STScI, altered to black and white, except for the blue rays of the center star. It is the author's opinion that humanity should collaborate with all of our focus on being good stewards of the perfect home planet we already have, and promote peace, love, joy, and harmony on Earth.
