Harvey provides great insight into which rifles one should pick for any type of game in North America. He does it, however, with a great amount of both wisdom and humor. Unlike many other authorities, Harvey does not take himself or his profession too seriously. Others, which I will not name, do take themselves too seriously and, as a result, they take too much of a preachy tone in offering advice. Their expert advice is based on a style of hunting many of us will not get a chance to duplicate. Harvey, though, does offer great advice that is closer to that many of us will engage in over the course of our lives. This makes Harvey's advice much, much more useful for the majority of hunters. So get this great book and be entertained and informed.
