NON STOP ACTION WITH A TWIST

Mike Redden is the anti-hero hero, and for a first installment, Author Tom Donald pulls it off in grand style. I am looking forward to the long awaited sequel to this first novel...

A startling look into the mind of a real military man!

I am pleased to say that Tom is a personal friend of mine and knowing that he is a Vietnam Veteran, this (novel) rings true of how things work for reaal anyone serving in the Military can tell ya' so! I am just a dainty female, and reading these hair raising, throat slashing, bone chilling, neck cracking, heart stopping, face smashing adventures if you will, caused me to think......Isn't that what it was supposed to do? Greuling misadventures into the deep jungles and icy waters.....brrrr!!! A cardiovascular workout of mind and body.

A non-stop thrill ride!

Tom Donald's "Hunter" starts off fast & just picks up speed. The characters are believable and the story rattles along nicely to its very effective climax. Donald has a fine eye for detail in his characterizations. I'm looking forward to the next Mike Redden novel!

Well worth the wait!

As a writer of suspense in the Los Angeles area, I finally received a copy of "The Hunter and the Hunted" via a review source at the Los Angeles Times. This first work by Tom Donald is compelling and points us to a new voice in the genre. His character, Mike Redden, has the necessary anti-hero hero elements to grab our interest and keep us asking for more. The only question I have is what took him so long! If word gets out on this one I see a Best Seller. It has everything - Vietnam flashbacks, great villians, romance, mystery, and on top of all that it is an easy read that makes you want to turn the page. I welcome the next in the Mike Redden series.

The Columbian Drug Cartel has met their match - Mike Redden!

The Columbian Drug Cartel has met their match - Mike Redden! Just as the Viet Cong ran to escape his swift jungle justice, the South American drug smugglers should fear the eye-for-an-eye mentality of the refreshing, ex-con, street-wise hero! Losing his famous, actress sister the day he is paroled from prison, Mike Redden is thrown into a quagmire that he has not seen the likes of since Viet Nam. Adding injury to insult, his estranged father dies of a heart attack and his murdered sister's pristine reputation is tarnished by the local tabloid. To make matters worse, Mike is hated by the LAPD and his parole officer would like to see Mike return to the slam with the no hope of seeing day-light again. Its a no-holds-barred show down between Mike Redden, the cops and the Columbians! I can only hope that this is the begining for a long and wonderful character in his quest to clean up our neighborhoods! I rate this book a 9, only because I know that Tom Donald and Mike Redden will continue to only get better and better!
