Childhood favorite.

Loved this book as a child, and love reading it to my 6 month old son now. It's a cute story about a hippo who wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but doesn't have what he needs to make it. He gets very grumpy, stomps all over town looking for the ingredients, and eventually all of the other animals make the peanut butter and jelly and surprise him with a big stack of sandwiches. Then, of course, all is well with the hippo, and he's sorry for being grumpy, and everyone is happy. The lines rhyme and are fun to read, the story is cute, and the illustrations are nice and bright. My son enjoys looking at them already. Definitely recommend!
