My all-time favorite cookbook

This little gem of a cookbook has yielded some of the best dinners we have ever had. I cannot imagine life without this book. Robert Ackart writes a cookbook the way cookbooks should all be written. He provides wonderful anecdotes for each recipe. And the recipes are in alphabetical order by the main ingredient (apples, bacon, cream, dumplings, etc.) which make the book fun to browse. Anyone who loves chicken will love it even more with this delightful 100 recipes.
