Spiritual Knowledge

Kathleen Raine dedicated this book to those who study Blake for spiritual knowledge. She goes through Blake's Job, plate by plate, explaining the meaning conveyed in each. She draws the parralels between the Bible's Job and Blake's Albion. I consider Raine as the authority on Blake's symbolism. Her writing is clear and I found myself closing this book throughout the reading to consider the magnitude of what she explained. This is a masterwork by Raine, explaining one of Blake's masterworks
