This rollicking rhyme tells the story of a very important house--the house that Jack built--around which wacky things happen to animals and people alike It's a shining example of how one event can spawn a whole series of mishaps. Best of all, it's fun to read aloud
This book is not common and I needed a Golden Book for both of my Boys Christmas parties. Where I live the selection of Golden Books is very slim and everyone already has most of those books this was an excellent book because the 2 kids that got them did not have it already.
Great story for toddlers!

We got this story for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves it! Barney helped introduce the story to her, so I had hoped it would be a hit and it was. We got requests to read it over and over again for so long WE started to hate it! =) However, it is now one of our nighttime routine books that we all enjoy, even our 9 month old! The animals catch the little ones' eyes and the repetitive rhyming make it pleasant to listen to. A great purchase!
