The Holy Bible: The Geneva Bible of 1587: Volume I: Genesis - Job

Size - 8-1/2 x 11 (like a piece of regular US printer paper) - large 12 pt. type PLEASE READ: EDITOR'S NOTE 2022 While the spellings in this text may appear to us as typos, spelling errors, etc., these spellings, along with their variations and inconsistencies, are original to the manuscript and were acceptable in their historical context. Sample: For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life.. This is not a scholarly work. The text we used is text we found online and are making assumptions of its reliability, having spot-checked it in areas against in-app versions, for which we also assumed reliability. This book does not attempt to be a representation of the entire 1587 Geneva Bible, but only of the text itself. Moreover, we have created it for our use, but are making it available, royalty-free, to any who might want a physical copy from which to read the Biblical text. Concerning the text, deliberate deviations from the original 1587 Geneva Bible are as follows (there may be others - we did not study any facsimile): We did not include any external and internal illustrations and the original book separator materials. We did not include any prefatory and explanatory materials, charts, tables, etc. We did not include any marginal notes or study notes. We did not include any extended book and chapter titles, headings, or explanatory text, but used conventional book titles. We did not include the any apocryphal texts. We did not include the apocryphal additions to Esther or Daniel. [1] We did not include any headings to the individual Psalms. The text we used contained no special characters, but any special characters were converted to letters contained in the modern English alphabet. We simply included the 1587 Geneva Bible translation of the text that you would find, generally speaking, in any 66-book Bible. We hope you understand and enjoy. God bless you. [1] For Esther 5:1-2, we pulled that text from a different version of the Geneva Bible, because these two verses were full of extended apocryphal text. See https://biblehub.com/geneva/esther/5.htm.
