I loved this book for so many amazing reasons!! First and foremost is that this book is probably the first book I have read out of MANY that highlights on health and physical fitness being the achievment rather than a thin body. I don't have a thin body and it is very depressing and disheartening to keep trying to achieve something that is just not going to be my end product. With that statement being laid to rest it allowed me to really focus on my health and actual physical fitness which is something that is so much better than a thin body because I can actually achieve physical fitness and healthy eating habits~ reguardless of what I weigh! I was truely fed up with fads and was hoping to find a more body/mind/spirit focus to lead me to a lifestyle change were I could be really happy and satisfied with my all around health and this book was definately it. The DVD that came along with the book was an amazing bonus for me as well, Jeanette Jenkins is so glowing and amazing as an instructor, she gives excellent direction and motivation and when she laughs I find it very sincere and that it rubs off on me and I laugh along with her (cheesey but true!). I feel like I have accomplished a whole lot when I finish with the selected daily workout and very pleased thus far with my results. The 21 day diet that she lines out is very easy to follow and most of the recipes are delicious!! I am truely thankful that I picked this book up. Thank you!!

Great Book

I purchased this book a few weeks ago. I really like the format. Jeanette James gives you a well-rounded plan (food, exercise, and mental cleansing) for weight loss. She does a good job of demonstrating how to do various levels of the same exercise based on your fitness level. The recipes are also very helpful. This is a book that I will use for many years to come.

A MUST HAVE BLUEPRINT FOR HEALTHY LIVING

Ever since having my last baby, I've struggled with finding a comprehensive program for overall wellness. Until I discovered The Hollywood Trainer, Jeanette Jenkins. Her book, The Hollywood Trainer Weight-Loss Plan: 21 Days to Make Healthy Living a Lifetime Habit provided that for me. It spoke to not only my physical and nutritional challenges but also my spiritual ones as well. It truly served as a blueprint for changing my life. The workouts were challenging yet fun and the recipes proved to be so delicious I was able to intergrate them into my family's meals as well. My two boys absolutely love the blueberry and banana buckwheat pancakes and the turkey lasagna and they are only 5 and 4! Through her book, Jeanette has not only given me the gift of wellness, a renewed lease on life and endless energy but she has also made me feel like a Hollywood Star - from the inside out!

This book is truly for everyone because Jeanette Jenkins appeals to people of all cultures, economic status, and health status. The book is simple to read, but also explains the importance of healthy living and how the body works in scientific terms. But most importantly, this book is not a fade or a quick fix that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Instead this book meets individuals where they are at, and helps them transform their lives from the inside out! Since I started the Hollywood Trainer Weight-Loss Plan I haven't felt the pressure to lose 15 pounds fast, get a six pack, or look like a movie star! Instead I feel free to be me and I am encouraged to understand and love me and my body.

Great book, really works

A workout that is fun and challenging, but works. Jenkins' has trained many celebrities and athletes so obviously knows what she's talking about. In fact, you can find this workout in the May issue of Fitness Magazine, which I just got my hands on recently. The workout combines cardio and circuit training to slim you down in 21 days. I highly suggest this workout to anyone tired of the same old workouts they've been using and getting no results. Pick up Fitness' issue, it'll definitely be worth it.
