a good study on symbology of comparative religions
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
first, this is not a easy book to read. It is very academic in tone. The good news is that it is very, very, interesting- if you have a curiosity of symbology, as it relates to various religions, you will enjoy this. The author's research on various topics in the book is exhaustive, and well articulated. He spends a lot of material on parables, analogies, metaphor, and symbols that all religious texts use to describe higher truths, both of human nature and God's nature.
