stunning conclusion- perhaps Debra Webb's best book yet!

Victoria Colby-Camp has the highest expectations for all of her staff at the Colby Agency. Keith Devers has worked for several years in the research department but this is his first investigative assignment. The task seems relatively easy: locate the missing son of wealthy mogul Desmond Van Valkenberg- a son whose very existence has remained a secret until now. Van Valkenberg is dying, however, and says he wants to see his son before his death. Ashley Orrick has been on the run for over 9 years. She's terrified of Van Valkenberg and is willing to sacrifice anything to keep her son, Jamie, safe. She is ecstatic at the thought that Van Valkenberg might be dying but doesn't trust his sudden interest in Jamie. Keith suspects there is more to this case than the simple abduction by a gold digger as reported by Van Valkenberg. Will Keith and Ashley be able to trust one another in time?
