I teach math at a university, and I recently picked this book up for my 3 year old when I was at a conference. I thought the pictures did a nice job of illustrating basic addition concepts. My 3 year old loved counting the hershey's kisses and saying the addition facts. He was saying, "one plus one equals two, two plus one equals three, three plus one equals four. I'm learning my math mommy!" He was being introduced to math concepts, and he thought it was fun. That's exactly what I want him to think. Learning math is fun!
educational and fun!
