Amanda Stevens' "The Hero's Son" is a great story that shows her flair for the genre. Thirty years ago, Valerie Snow's father was convicted of kidnapping and murdering three-year-old Adam Kingsley. Now, she's returned to Memphis to prove his innocence. The only man standing in her way is Brant Colter, the son of the man who arrested her father so long ago. Brant is also in charge of the local law enforcement, and seems unwilling to let her out of his sight... The mystery gets into high gear here, in the first book of Stevens' "Kingsley Baby" trilogy and never lets up. The twists and turns lead up to a suspenseful and satisfying ending (that still leaves room for the tale to continue in the next two books), and the love story between the two never disappoints. I especially loved a scene between Valerie and her father at the very end, which perfectly demonstrates what this book is: a great mystery with a lot of heart.
FANTASTIC!

This is the first in a trilogy called The Kingsley Baby, about the kidnapping of a young boy from a wealthy family. The whole series is absolutely fabulous! Don't miss it!
