The oncologic disease and/or the therapeutic pathway imposes changes in the dimension of health condition to its patients. When we talk about health condition we refer to changes in self-care as well as to commitments in the field of bodily processes. In the global context, colorectal cancer is among the most common oncological processes, especially in males and still has a high mortality rate. However, advances in diagnosis and treatment allow people with this disease to live longer and with better quality of life. Based on these assumptions, we conducted a study aimed at describing the health condition of clients with colorectal cancer at the beginning of the therapeutic pathway, using a descriptive exploratory methodological approach in a quantitative paradigm.
