Without question, Fr. Hampsch's book, "The Healing Power of the Eucharist" was an awaking for me. While my belief in the power of the Eucharist was always present, it no doubt was enhanced through the points brought out in this text. One of the most powerful and distinct books I've ever read, Fr. John makes it very clear that we can, with "expectant" faith, rely upon the Eucharistic Jesus for emotional, physical, and spiritual healings. For me personally, I have witnessed the power of healing in all three of these areas. The power of the Eucharist and what to expect through out faith and trust in the real presence of Christ is clearly defined and outlined in this example of Fr. Hampsch's work. I've read this text four times, each time with greater meaning.

eucharistic Healing

I read this book last night in one setting. The book is powerful, and Father John gives details on how we can be healed physically,metally,and spiritually. We have to be open to receive from God when we accept his precious Body and Blood in Communion. Father points out that after receiving the Eucharist, we should take a few minuted to give thanks to God after Mass is finished, and then ask Him for his healing. This is a must read. I started rading this book in a parking lot of a shopping center, and two hours later at one o'clock in the morning I finished the book. Thank you Lord for your healing touch on all our lives.

One of the Best

This was one of the best books I have ever read. Fr. John does a fantastic job. The stories he includes and the experiences bring a deeper devotion to anyone who reads this. Higly recommend to anyone! Phenominal!
