Good reference

This is a great reference book for all levels of herbal knowledge. I have had my copy for years and I still use it today.

Interesting but confusing

This book has great information. Appreciate the pros and cons of healing herbs. What I do no like about this book is that the illustrations of the plants are in b/w. The cover sure as heck is colorful and looks great, however, seeing in the description is not Bueno. I don't want to use any imagination when dealing with learning and identifying herbs out in 'wild' or even in gardening. Personally only like the description in alphabetical order, but nothing else.

Great quick reference

Great quick reference book. Herbs are listed alphabetically with brief description and properties. My copy was missing 3 pages (cut out of the book), and there was a large brown stain which bled through 3 pages, rendering those paragraphs unreadable.

Great Herb book

I use this book weekly to find herbal remedies and tinctures. Highly recommend to anyone interested in remedies, God's way.

excellent book

The one and only book you will ever need on Herbs. A must for anyone who uses them. The best part of the book is the "side affects" to each herb. Something you normally do not hear about, but need to know when taking herbs.

Well worth the $$.....

I have been learning about herbs for a few years now, once in a while you run across a book that seems to give you information that others do not, Michael has done just that. It is in terms that I understand, and want to try to grow these plants and learn how to use them. If you are looking for a book that helps you understand, and helps make you feel like you really could accomplish herb growing, please invest in this book. It was orginally found at our local library. Hey, a no risk sneak preview !
