The third-graders of Elmwood Elementary School have to spend the school year at the Blackwell mansion. And it's haunted! This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book through Scholastic book orders when I was 8 years old. I'm now 25 and still read it every once in awhile. In the book, a group of unique (I won't say misfit, because they're very realistic) third graders bands together to solve the mystery of their school. Each uses their own strengths but works as a team to solve a mystery that has befuddle adults -- even their teachers -- for ages. It's a great story for kids in upper elementary years, and includes great side stories about art appreciation, math fears, and those crazy jokes that are always so popular in elementary school. I love this book!
