I read it 30 years ago. Wise and charming, recommended to all thinking persons. Why this review? Because on August 9, 2003 the Economist printed: "Economic focus / Chasing the dream - Why don't rising incomes make everybody happier". Best read in the Economist in years (!!!) and it reminded me of Linder's book. I tried to find the book ... but couldn't. I'll try again... If I don't find it I may buy another copy... to reread it. If you'll read it you will not regret it. Have fun
