Learn the ways of the Force

If you are a fan of the Star Wars movies or the Matrix movies then you will love this book. It deals with "The Force" (what it really is and how to use it) and reality as we know it and how to access multiple dimensions. Personally it explained alot of things that my Hindu texts could not. I loved "Autobiography of a Yogi" and wanted to learn how the guy bent reality and used ESP but if you study Hindism or ANY religion or philosophy, they don't, won't or CAN'T teach you any of that. The Handbook of the Navigator covers all that and more. It will wake up that little kid inside you that's excited again because FINALLY someone has proved that the FORCE is real and you can use it, if you'll do it. DO IT!

don't be fooled....

don't be fooled by the simplistic language and presentation of this book. it is not presented in an intellectual manner, as many spiritual books out there are, rather it is intended for anyone who may have some kind of spiritual desire or questions. the knowledge in this book is simple, yet profound, and some people may even feel frustrated reading it because they feel like they know it all already.... but that's the very point! we already have all the knowledge, we just forgot it all. or for others it may make a lot of sense to you, it just 'seems' right... and again this is because our navigator or intuition already knows. but for others still this book may seem meaningless, and there are reasons for that too. basically if you feel compelled or drawn to read this book, then very likely there will be something in here for you. many other reviewers complain that this book is nothing more than an advertisement. i disagree. this book is a crash course in the entire background of the system higher balance is putting out. the meditations itself are not presented in the book as they require audio explination, but if the book moves you in some way then very likely you will have great success with the audio courses that are put out. i'm tired of people always whinging about money. i used to be one myself and i still have my financial limits.... but look at it this way. $$ in your bank doing nothing (and probably spent on junk) or spend the money on something that may profoundly improve the quality of your life. practicing with the higher balance material has changed my life and things continue to only get better. i challenge you to find ANY spiritual path or teacher out there that doesn't require some kind of cash investment to receive the teachings. thats the way it works unfortunately, it's not possible in this day and age to do these things for free. do you really expect to obtain enlightenment in a $20 book? you wont.... but you will receive knowledge that can aid you in taking the first steps towards it.... if you are open to it.

This is not enlightenment for $14.95 but...

This book is not the path to enlightement for the cost of a book. It tries, with simple language, to point out that we all have to find the answers to big questions ourselves. We have to listen to our inner voice (called the "Navigator" in the book) to help us find our way along the path to greater spiritual understanding. The author also heavily relies on metaphors to get his point across. I have read the book three times over a period of 10 months. Each time I have gained a greater appreciation of the knowledge contained in the book. Some of the knowlege can only be understood when the student is at a place of greater awareness. I disagree that the book is a sales pitch for an expensive course of CDs that Eric Pepin also sells at his website. Yes, Eric has other teachings available, but I believe the book stands alone as a tool to awaken people to start their own spiritual journey by whichever path they choose. I also believe that the path to higher conciousness does not come by reading books alone. A person must also do the work (meditation, reflection, life style changes...)

Will be over some people's heads

Weird, I couldn't help reading some of the opinions by a few people who thought that the book was a just a marketing pitch. Just so everyone knows, this is because the author mentions a CD course in the Epilogue. Funny how, for some, that annoyance erases all that they could get out of the book. I thought the book offered very advanced spiritual information, and I knew as I was reading it that not everyone will 'get it'. I learned somewhere that a person can read a thousand books and not be any closer to enlightenment; that it takes ENERGY to truly understand things of a higher vibration. This took on a whole new meaning when I began to experience energy shifts as I followed the virtual tour of the Universe, starting with an explanation the origin of what he calls the Navigator, the Navigator seemed to account for much of the spiritual influence I've experienced in my life to date. The energy just flowed from this book, and continued through the section detailing the Sixth Sense and how it is the missing link to Enlightenment, I could feel the knowledge taking me places I'm not sure the brain is capable of alone. There isn't much wasted on scientific jargon, geometric shapes, or crystal crap in this book; it just grabs your hand and takes you for a ride. I liked Mr Pepins bold approach. What will you get out of this book? I got some great knowledge, perspectives, and even some breakthroughs. Depends if you are ready to hear it.

Much more then paper and ink...

I remember when I first became interested in metaphysical books, I asked myself what it was I was really looking for from the knowledge in them. Ultimately my intention was for personal growth and to 'experience life beyond my current capacity'. However, through the years reading many books on these subjects, I mostly found intellectual models, conceptual theory breakdowns, logic structures, etc. Very few of those books have altered from that standard one-dimensional way of presenting information. Well of those few, the Handbook of the Navigator was the most unique of them all. Not only was the vast array of knowledge in this book incredible, but moreso the way in which Eric delivered it. Usually, when it comes to cosmological insight (such as pre-big bang existence), metaphysics, existence or purpose, visionaries and philosophers present their knowledge through an 'over-abundant' usage, or reliance, upon modern or post-modern science. That convention, after a while, became very redundant and I found myself feeling limited to a shallow surface of what these authors were really trying to convey to me. Not so with this book. As I read it, even the way the words progressed and came together seemed to 'directly' shift my brain and mind into what felt like an expansion of awareness. I don't mean like the epiphany caused from mentally integrating a new concept. I mean after a while it felt like my senses and overall awareness became really acute. It was very different! As a result of those periodic shifts, the direction Eric's knowledge took really deepened and came alive even more so. And that state of awareness continued even after I put it down! All in all, like other rare books that have a mystical essence to them, this book truely has a definate 'magic' to it as well. And I honestly believe most people will be able to phsycially feel something, perhaps similar a subtle electricity at first, while reading it. It still continues to do so for me, even now, during my third time going through it. I strongly recommend experiencing it for yourself!
