Loving and Relating!

Now here is a book written by a man who gets it. You can read this book as a man or a woman and understand what all new parents go through during this very stressful time in their lives. But to be able to laugh about it is a beautiful thing and to be able to read someone who can write about his own experiences in a sarcastic, edgy yet truly self deprecating way is a true success of a book in my opinion. Which I think should count since I'm a mother and very picky about what I read.

funny funny funny!

I bought this book for my husband last month when we found out we were pregnant. He and I laid in bed reading it out loud together and laughed until we cried! Crider and his wife sound sooooo much like us. His story is one that is universally undderstood and he makes it fun to follow. The author points out laughable parts in even the most serious of situations. This is a must for you to own. I read two bad reviews on this book, and don't understand them. I think the reviewers must not have a sense of humor. The Guy's Guide is simply one of the funniest books I've ever read. I'm a woman and even though this book was meant for men, I found it hilarious! If you are pregnant or know someone who is, BUY THIS BOOK. It should be at the top of your list with Dr. Spock and "What To Expect When You'r E Expecting".

HYSTERICAL!!!!

I bought this as a baby shower gift for my soon to be mommy friend's hubby. I was laughing out loud in the bookstore when I was skimming through it. HYSTERICAL!!! I'm buying a copy for myself and I'm not even having kids anytime soon. It's a GREAT story!!!

Rolling on the floor

This book is great! It's a refreshing change from the thousands of other overly serious pregnancy books that have you thinking there's no way you can get that baby out without screwing something up. It is not a serious how-to manual, but rather an honest and entertaining account of what most of us expectant fathers are going through. My apologies to all those sitting next to me on the plane when I read this book, my constant laughter must have been quite disturbing!

Hysterical - Dad's and Dad's-to-Be will Love it!

My husband received this as a gift and he (and I) loved it! I was so glad to see a book from a guy's point of view and my husband completely identified with the author. We both laughed out loud many, many times while reading it. We highly recommend this book! There are so many books for women during this exciting time - so don't forget the guy! We now give this as a gift for our expecting "guy friends".
