Have you ever been stuck in the woods, clawed by a grizzly, or do you love adventure books? If you have, The Grizzly written by Annabel and Edgar Johnson is for you. David and Mark were camping in the woods near a river. They were finished fishing and were on their way back to camp. When they got there, they saw a black grizzly bear. You'll just have to read The Grizzly to find out. We recommend you read this book, and we give it 4 out of 5 stars. There were a couple of boring chapters, but otherwise we liked the book. Tyler Jake Nathan Robert Have you ever been stuck out in the wilderness by yourself? That's what Sign of the Beaver is like, written by Elizabeth George Speare. It's about a boy named Matt and his father. It takes place back in the 1800s in a cabin in Main. His father has to ride his horse and walk to Mississippi to pick up Matt's sister and mother. How long do you think it would take his dad to walk and ride a horse all the way there and back? Then his son Matt makes an Indian friend named Attean later in the story, he asks Matt if he wants to join Attean's tribe. What will Matt say? Will his dad ever come back? Will he join Attean's tribe? We can't tell you, you just have to read the story and find out. We give it five stars because it's a great adventure and thrilling book. By: Nick & Ian If you like adventure books then "The Grizzly" is for you, but evidently it wasn't a book for us. It was a real letdown book. We were expecting so much more excitement. We wouldn't recommend it to our class. This book written by Annabel and Edger Johnson seemed a little too boring. It starts out with David (son) and Mark(dad) going on a weekend camping trip, but then all goes down hill from there. What will the grizzly do? What will happen to this father and his son? Will they survive? You'll just have to read "The Grizzly" a*** three star book. By: Liliana and Ariel

I love this book and I'm 40 years old. I first read it as a youth, but reread it now and then because of the clarity of writing and thoughts expressed. Any boy or girl will enjoy it, too.
