Terrific (and funny) vintage mystery!

I love vintage mysteries and the humorous stories, authored by Margaret Scherf, are among the best. The wacky notions of Emily Bryce are hilarious as are the various coping methods of her long-suffering husband. If one loves the genre epitomized by movies such as The Thin Man, you will enjoy this book and others by this author. The Rue Morgue Press has done a great service by saving these wonderful mysteries from oblivion.
