A concerned parent

The Greatest Story Never Told by Ray Negron is a wonderful tool for teaching children tolerance and brotherhood. The beautiful illustrations make this story come alive! A must read for any parent with their child!

A Beautiful Story - Beautifully Presented

If anything, Ray Negron's followup to The Boy of Steel has shown his growth as an author. Using Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson to help two sick boys understand about prejudice and "differences" is pure magic. The illustrations are glorious. Laura Seeley captures the aging Babe Ruth in almost photographic beauty with that special twinkle in his eye that was Babe. This is a book to be treasured and passed down from children to grandchildren. It is also the perfect classroom and hospital book and a wonderful edition to any childhood library.
