THE BEST DETAILED ALI BOOK WRITTEN- A MUST HAVE

This is the best book about Ali because its written in EXTREME detail, in Ali's own words. lt's so much greater to read from Ali's own perspective about his life, views and actions, rather than from someone else's view of Ali. THIS BOOK IS A MUST FOR ANY ALI FAN!!! you will especially appreciate the fact that he includes word for word the tape recorded conversations between him and Joe Frazier, and also his ex-wife - which were recorded just for the book. lts an incredible insight and written in a way that makes you feel like you are right there experiencing it all with him. Theres no way you will find this book a waste if you are an Ali fan.

Great Autobiography!

I haven't read any of the other Ali bio's and I'm encouraged that they're said to be better than this one is, but I've read this one and it is funny, fun to read, enlightening, informative, honest, unfortunate at times (the racism parts), and in my opinion thorough. Its hard to give 415 pages without spilling his guts at least a little. This book is written by Ali so it's probably more charasmatic than the books about him written by others. Capture Ali in his own words; his own story. This book was first-rate!
